Semi Skilled Labourer

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SEMI SKILLED LABOURER TO JOIN OUR TEAM AT THOMPSON QUARRIES.

Full time position at our quarry in Dumbarton.

Tasks:

Main Tasks include -
assisting quarry & washplant operatives in maintaining machinery and equipment
assembling and dismantling equipment
removing waste and serviceable materials and equipment from work areas after extraction and screening activities have been completed
cleaning machinery, equipment, tools, roadways and haul roads
sorting, loading, unloading, stacking and storing tools, materials and supplies used by other workers.

It is essential that the successful candidate is:

Prepared to progress and develop within our business through training and gaining qualifications.

Willing to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Willing to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business, and has a flexible approach to working hours.

In possession of a full driving license

Previous experience with tools, small plant and tractor operation required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.00 per hour
