The Role - Second in Charge of Mathematics, Mathematics 2iC
• Assist in the leadership and management of the Maths department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
• Support the Head of Mathematics in driving forward curriculum development and assessment strategies.
• Mentor and support colleagues, sharing best practices and delivering CPD sessions.
• Teach engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5, fostering a love for the subject.
• Use data-driven approaches to monitor student progress and implement interventions where necessary, ensuring an inclusive education for all students.
• Contribute to whole-school improvement strategies, working collaboratively with the wider leadership team.
• Promote and support extracurricular Maths activities such as clubs, competitions, and enrichment programs.

Ideal Candidate - Second in Charge of Mathematics - Mathematics 2iC
• A highly skilled Maths teacher (UK QTS essential) with a strong track record of excellent teaching practice.
• Experience of leadership, mentoring, or curriculum development within a Maths department.
