Job Description
We are currently working with a number of friendly and welcoming primary schools across Walsall who are seeking experienced School Receptionists to join their office teams. Schools are looking for candidates who can provide a professional first impression while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.This position requires someone who is calm under pressure, highly organised, and confident communicating with parents, staff, and visitors.Key DutiesWelcoming visitors and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed correctlyManaging incoming calls, messages, and front office enquiriesSupporting attendance and pupil absence proceduresMaintaining accurate records using ARBOR, SIMS, and BROMCOMManaging visitor badges, signing in procedures, and school security processesAssisting with school correspondence and parent communicationsSupporting administrative tasks for leadership and teaching staffMaintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all timesCandidate RequirementsPrevious experience within a primary school office environmentConfident using ARBOR, SIMS, and/or BROMCOMStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work efficiently within a busy reception areaGood IT and administration skillsUnderstanding of safeguarding responsibilities within schoolsImportant InformationNo training will be providedCandidates must be experienced and able to start immediatelyEnhanced DBS clearance is requiredCandidates without an Enhanced DBS will need to obtain and fund their own DBS checkAll positions are subject to safeguarding and referencing checksAspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
