SAP S/4 & BTP Technical Team Lead/Project Manager

We are seeking a senior SAP Team Lead/Project Manager who MUST have a VERY technical background.
You will deliver leadership to support large-scale SAP Finance and Treasury transformation programs. The focus is on hands-on delivery, technical understanding, and leading cross-functional teams through execution.
You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery across SAP S/4HANA Finance, FICO, Treasury, and SAP BTP, working closely with architects, developers, functional leads, and business stakeholders. The role requires active ownership of cutover planning and execution, ensuring technical and business readiness for go-live.
A strong understanding of SAP build and development processes, including ABAP and SAP BTP-based development, is essential. You will track build and test progress, manage environment readiness, and coordinate dependencies across internal teams and external vendors. You will also help establish and lead SAP BTP delivery teams, ensuring clear ownership and alignment across all involved parties.
You will guide teams through complex or ambiguous situations, provide clear direction and priorities, and contribute to governance activities such as design reviews and change control boards.
Experience and skills needed:
10+ years of experience as a Team Lead/Project Manager
Strong Technical Experience in:
- SAP S/4HANA Finance
- SAP FICO
- SAP Treasury
Experience in Cash & Banking, Payments, Invoice-to-Cash, or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) is a strong advantage.
4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP, including CAP, RAP, Fiori, and Integration Suite.
Proven experience across multiple end-to-end SAP implementations, from design through go-live and stabilization.
Solid understanding of SAP build, test, and deployment processes, including ABAP.
Leadership, Tools & Working Model:
Experience leading global, cross-functional delivery teams.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on experience with JIRA, Planview, and MS Project.
Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and delivery governance.
PMP/FPX or Six Sigma certification preferred.
Ability to work primarily in EMEA (CET) with some overlap into US (EST).
Fluent in English and comfortable working in multicultural environments.
