SAP Procurement Lead

We are seeking an experienced SAP Procurement Lead to support a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the procurement workstream, specifically focused on preparing and managing the tendering process for selecting a System Integrator (SI) partner. This role requires deep expertise in SAP procurement processes, strong commercial acumen, and hands-on experience in drafting and managing procurement documentation (RFI's, RFP's tec) for large-scale SAP programmes.

Your new role

• Lead the procurement workstream for the SAP S/4HANA programme.
• Develop and manage the end-to-end tender process for selecting a System Integrator.
• Draft comprehensive procurement documentation including: RFI, ITT, evaluation criteria, and commercial terms.
• Collaborate with legal, commercial, and programme teams to ensure alignment of procurement strategy.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure they are reflected in tender documentation.
• Support the evaluation and selection process of SI bids, including moderation and scoring.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and relevant public sector procurement regulations.
• Provide expert advice on SAP vendor landscape, licensing models, and SI capabilities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Procurement Lead on large-scale SAP programmes, ideally SAP S/4HANA.
• Demonstrable experience in writing and managing procurement tender documentation for SAP System Integrator selection.
• Strong understanding of SAP implementation methodologies and commercial models.
• Experience working within regulated procurement environments is highly desirable.
• Experience of working within complex large-scale environments is essential.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Public Sector experience beneficial
