SAP HCM Payroll Consultant

Job Type: Contract - 12 Months

Job Description:

Our client, a well-established organisation in the financial services sector, is seeking an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Consultant to join their team on a 12-month contract basis. This role will focus on supporting SAP payroll processes and integrations, ensuring compliance and accuracy across multiple jurisdictions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end-to-end SAP HCM Payroll support and configuration for international payroll operations.
  • Work closely with HR and IT teams to design and implement payroll processes and solutions.
  • Configure and support integrations using Business Integration Builder (BIB) and Point-to-Point mechanisms.
  • Perform regular payroll runs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with shared service teams to support payroll requirements in a multi-country setup.
  • Interpret payroll-related legislative requirements, particularly GDPR and data privacy regulations.
  • Provide technical and functional documentation to support ongoing payroll initiatives.
  • Assist with upgrades, testing, and user training within SAP HCM and SuccessFactors.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in SAP HCM Payroll.
  • Proven experience in payroll configuration, troubleshooting, and support across multinational environments.
  • Solid understanding of payroll regulations and data handling compliance.
  • Experience working within large enterprise or shared services teams.

Desirable Skills:

  • SAP Certification in Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC).
  • Familiarity with Business Integration Builder (BIB) and Point-to-Point Integration tools.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and payroll data compliance best practices.
  • Previous exposure to multinational payroll landscapes and service delivery models.

Educational Requirements:

  • 3rd Level Degree in IT, Business Information Systems, HR Systems, or related discipline.
