On behalf of our global client, we're currently looking for a SAP Data Migration Expert.

Role: SAP Data Migration Expert

Capacity: 8h/day, 5 days/week

Start: 01.09.2025

Duration: 31.12.2025 + extension

Location: Remote, 1 day per month onsite in Frankfurt

Languages: German

Tasks:

• Requirement analysis of the data to be migrated
• Creation of migration strategies
• Solution development in the handling of, for example, company code changes during a data migration
• Creation of a data mapping during the data migration from one SAP HANA system to another SAP HANA system
• Performing data extraction and checking the need for data transformation (ETL processes) from an SAP S/4HANA system
• Prepare and execute data transformation
• Complete data migration including execution of data quality tests (consistency and count)
• Develop cutover planning to ensure smooth operation during go-live
• Create harmonization concept for inconsistent master data
• Develop standardization plans in the course of data modelling

Required (several years of experience):

• SAP FI/CO (eg Company Codes, Profit Centers)
• SAP MM (eg Material Master Data, Inventory Data)
• SAP SD (eg Sales Data, Order and Delivery Data)
• SAP PP (eg BOMs, Work Orders)

Optional:

• SAP QM (for example, notification types)
• SAP PM (for example, equipment)

Technologies

Must:

• Several years of experience: SAP migration software (eg SAP Data Services, SAP Migration Cockpit, or similar)
• Several of experience: SAP S/4 HANA

Optional:

• SAP HANA Studio

Methods

Must:

• Agile project methods (SAFe 6.0)
• Several years of experience: Data Migration Framework
• Several years of experience: Data quality management (eg Data Transition Validation or similar)

Optional:

• Test methods
• Data cleansing

Soft Skills

Must:

• Problem-Solving Capability
• Structured procedure
• Communication skills
• Independent working/proactivity

Optional:
