Reporting To: VP of Partnerships
Compensation: £25,000 - £30,000 / year
Responsibilities- Proactively engage with warm leads - outbound calls and proactive emails to customers referred by automotive partners
- Successfully convert leads - reach out to new and unconverted leads to convert referrals
- Qualify customer needs - understand home setup, charging requirements, and eligibility to recommend the right solution
- Present charging options - explain products and services clearly and accessibly
- Convert leads into loyal customers - guide customers to purchase, hitting monthly sales and conversion targets
- Maintain accurate records - keep CRM updated with lead activity, customer information, and sales progress
- Collaborate cross-functionally - work with Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure a smooth customer journey
- Champion sustainability - advocate for EV adoption and Pod's role in the UK's transition to cleaner mobility
- Champion our values - model Trust, Edge, and Care in all partner interactions and bring the voice of the customer back to the business
- At least 1 year's experience in a telesales role (B2B or B2C)
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Enthusiastic about working with and towards sales targets, with proven experience of doing so
- IT literate with confidence using CRM systems and sales tools (ideally HubSpot)
- Comfortable with inbound and outbound calling, including cold calling
- Strong people skills - outgoing, personable, and able to quickly build rapport
- Ability to communicate technical information in a simple, customer-friendly way
- Thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, motivated by targets and results
- Proficiency with CRM systems and pipeline management
- Passionate about sustainability, EV adoption, and the future of mobility
- Passion for climate change, sustainability, or the EV industry
- Previous experience selling technical or home-install products
- Strong written communication skills for email engagement
- A team player who shares best practices and contributes to a supportive culture
