For a leading global maritime solutions provider, we are looking for a Sales Assistant to support the Africa sales region. Based in Gorinchem, you'll join a collaborative and knowledgeable team, where your organisational skills and attention to detail will directly contribute to commercial success. This temporary position offers the opportunity to grow professionally in a supportive environment that values initiative and cross-cultural communication.



What you'll do

  • Support the sales team throughout the entire commercial process

  • Coordinate client communication in French and English

  • Prepare offers, documentation, and assist with contracts

  • Organise sales trips, client visits, and internal meetings

  • Maintain accurate records and support various sales projects



What you bring

  • MBO+ or HBO-level education in a commercial or administrative field

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar support or sales admin role

  • Excellent command of French (spoken and written)

  • Good communication skills in English

  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset

  • Comfortable working in a multicultural, international setting
