Our client, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is seeking a seasoned Ruby on Rails Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will directly manage support escalations and critical issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery.

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in Ruby on Rails applications.
• Act as an escalation point for critical support requests, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Write clean, maintainable Ruby on Rails code with thorough documentation.
• Design scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

• 5+ years experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• Strong background in handling customer-facing escalations.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
