Job Description

Our client, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is seeking a seasoned Ruby on Rails Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will directly manage support escalations and critical issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in Ruby on Rails applications.
Act as an escalation point for critical support requests, ensuring timely resolutions.
Write clean, maintainable Ruby on Rails code with thorough documentation.
Design scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications:

5+ years experience in Ruby on Rails development.
Strong background in handling customer-facing escalations.
Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or MongoDB.
Knowledge of DevOps tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
