Retail Supervisor

Location: RAF Leeming, Northallerton DL7 9NJ
Pay: £13.35/hour
Hours: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours/week, (5 days out of 7, including some weekends).
Shift times: Mon-Fri (06:30-14:00 or 14:00-21:30), Sat-Sun (07:30-15:0 or 14:00-21:30).

What you'll do

• The successful applicant will be expected to manage shifts which includes taking responsibility for the post office counter as well as the store whilst on duty.
• Be an important part of the management team and support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide a great service to our customers.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in your manager's absence ensuring that customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Take responsibility for the control of operational costs including shrinkage, waste.

What we're looking for

• You've lived in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work.
• Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Previous retail or supervisory experience is a bonus, but your leadership skills and customer focus matter most!
