Retail Manager (Chinese Speaking, £30K, Apparel, Edinburgh)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Manager role in an Apparel & Fashion company based in Edinburgh. The company is an exclusive handcrafted luxury leather product manufacturer.

The retail manager will lead and encourage the staff to increase sales and create a lively in-store environment, all while ensuring the shop works smoothly and profitably. Mandarin language abilities are extremely desired in this job, though not required, to facilitate interactions with Chinese clients.

• Developing and implementing a marketing and business strategy for the store to increase sales, including methods for increasing foot traffic, developing new customer connections, and forming partnerships.
• Recognizing developments in local client patterns and shaping store direction to meet them.
• Coordination of various retail activities and management of in-store events.
• Capable of acting as a brand ambassador, communicating the brand narrative effectively, and cultivating strong customer and business connections.
• Multitasking, prioritising, and delegating work are all skills you'll need.
• Professional, having the capacity to operate in a non-disclosive manner at all times.
• A high degree of numeracy, as well as the ability to create and keep correct records, are required.
