Restaurant Supervisor

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a customer focused Supervisor wishing to be a part of our fantastic team in our popular family friendly Italian restaurant.

We are looking for a team focused and driven individual who can help lead the Terrazza team as a dedicated Supervisor.

Interested in

Well organized, self motivated candidates keen to work in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will be energetic and approachable, a Supervisor keen to allow their customer service skills to shine in a hands on role. The successful candidate should ideally be able to demonstrate team leader or supervisory expertise in a busy bar/ waiting on environment; knowledge likely to have been acquired within a similar position in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the day to day operation of the Restaurant in the absence of the Assistant Manager and Restaurant Manager.
• Assist the Management team with the operational objectives of the business and ensure tight controls on costs are achieved in line with the P & L.
• Ensure that all company Health & Safety, and Food Safety objectives and standards are achieved and that any faults are raised directly with the Restaurant Manager or the Health & Safety Manager.
• Focus on "service" standards throughout the operation, and in conjunction with the Management team; continue to improve the overall professional standards.
• Communicate effectively with all areas of the overall business in order to facilitate high standards across Ribby Hall Village.
• Ensure that the Restaurant operates to its maximum potential.

Licensing Due to licensing laws applicants must be 18 years of age or above. Availability

The position is full time; normal hours of work are 40 hours per week over 5 days, in a department that operates 7 days a week. Full flexibility to work weekends and evenings is essential to meet the commercial needs of the business.
