Restaurant Supervisor - Clanree Hotel
The Clanree Hotel is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to join our team.
The successful candidate will support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operation of the Restaurant and banqueting functions, ensuring all guests receive the highest possible standards of customer service in line with Clanree Hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant and functions
- Supervise and support team members during service
- Ensure all guests are welcomed and served efficiently, professionally, and in a friendly manner
- Coordinate table plans, bookings, and service flow as directed by management
- Maintain a strong knowledge of menus, beverages, and daily specials
- Assist guests with menu choices and provide recommendations when required
- Monitor service standards and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit
- Handle customer queries and complaints promptly, escalating to management where necessary
- Ensure all food and beverage charges are processed accurately in line with procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant and work areas
- Ensure all hygiene, health & safety, and food safety standards are strictly adhered to
- Support the training and development of team members
- Work closely with kitchen and other departments to ensure efficient service
- Assist in achieving sales targets through upselling and excellent service
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality supervisory role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead by example and support a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach
- Good knowledge of food, beverages, and service standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy periods
