This role plays a pivotal part in aligning our evolving business needs, programme development and site strategy with our Early Careers programmes, recruitment and training activities.
This leadership / line management role includes the effective resource selection, training and deployment, before, within and post Early Careers programmes. This individual will likely be used to leading specialists the ability to coach, motivate and develop.
A background with strong stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders inc functions such as procurement and key suppliers from recruitment to educational providers will be key. The ability to manage expectations and ensure effective communication between business areas to drive successful outcomes for Belfast plant.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
- Understanding of recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding. With an emphasis on evaluating industry trends, labour market conditions and innovative talent acquisition strategies.
- Developing the strategy around educational frameworks in order to manage and develop early career programs in line with business needs, being proactive to consider changes in legislation and overall site strategy.
- Understanding of training frameworks to support both early career and active workforce populations, and futureproofing Belfast s Early Careers population
- Utilising best practice including development and implementation i.e standard operating procedures, KPI s, targets etc (need to develop)
- Understanding of day to day line management, including sickness absence, managing performance, and regular one to ones
ABOUT YOU
- Demonstrated experience in developing and shaping cross functional strategies within a fastmoving multilayered environment
- Experience in application of HR process / policy ie employment law/ legislation/ talent acquisition
- A background in working with and influencing with various stakeholder groups
- A fundamental understanding of industrial/operational processes and the vision of how to shape Airbus s Early Careers strategy to deliver for the wider business
