Research Associate/Lab Technician - Early Pharmacology (100%)
CDR-Life is an innovative biotech company based in Horgen, Zurich where we develop novel immunotherapies against cancer and autoimmune disease based on our unique T cell engager technology. It is a dynamic mission-driven company with a highly collaborative approach. The Early Pharmacology team within Research contributes to the discovery and progression of novel therapeutic candidates by generating data that informs and drives target validation, lead optimization, and candidate selection. To support this team, we are looking for a curious and motivated:
Research Associate/Lab Technician - Early Pharmacology (100%)
Key Responsibilities
Generate high-quality and critical biological data to support the advancement of CDR-Life's pipeline of immunotherapies from early discovery to preclinical development.
Plan, conduct and analyze biochemical and cell-based assays for identification and characterization of immune-based therapies (e.g. ELISA, cytotoxicity and cytokine release assays).
Conduct flow cytometric assays for immunophenotyping and characterization of antibody fragments.
Develop assays, implement tools or evaluate new technologies or assay formats to support early pharmacology activities (e.g. cell line generation).
Develop and conduct assays to support target evaluation (e.g. qPCR, Western Blot).
Work closely with other Pharmacology group members as well as Discovery group to support hit identification and lead selection.
Analyze, interpret and present experimental results at internal meetings.
Maintain and optimize mammalian cell culture processes, organize and conduct PBMC isolation from buffy coats.
Who you are
Bachelor's degree or trained lab technician in cell biology, immunology, biochemistry or related fields.
Experience in a relevant industry setting preferred.
Substantial experience with mammalian cell culture.
Hands-on experience with immunological and cell-based assays (e.g., ELISA).
Hands-on experience with flow cytometry and live-cell imaging is considered a plus.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
Positive and proactive attitude with a strong focus on accuracy and reliability.
