Eligibility Criteria

• A PhD (or near completion) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in computational or data-intensive biological research
• Strong track record of research outputs, such as publications or conference presentations
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom

Required Expertise/Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in bioinformatics (e.g., Python, R, or similar)
• Experience with biological data analysis, including genomics or related datasets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with statistical modelling and computational methods
• Ability to manage large datasets and develop reproducible workflows
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for academic dissemination
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple research priorities

Salary Details

£43,003 - £46,297 per annum (depending on experience)
