Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal

Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse to join our dedicated team at Jackson Vets in Balfron. Our purpose-built practice features dedicated imaging, dental and operating suites, as well as separate dog and cat wards.

We do not operate out of hours at Jackson Vets, but there is an option to join the out-of-hours rota at Doune if you wish to do so.

Responsibilities

• Carry out nurse consults and assist with operations, monitor anaesthetics, and provide in-patient care.
• Support cleaning duties as part of a tidy and efficient practice environment.

Note: This role is based in Balfron with potential opportunities for out-of-hours shifts through Doune.

Working hours

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, including a share in Saturday mornings.

About the Practice

Jackson Vets was established in 1985 and moved to modern premises in Balfron in October 2024. We offer 24-hour emergency call-out services and have a team of experienced veterinary surgeons and support staff to care for domestic pets.
