Stock Distribution Operative

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and experienced in warehousing or stock control?Brook Street Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in the Antrim area for a Stock Distribution Operative to join a busy and essential teamDuties

• Picking and packing orders for central distribution
• Safely retrieving semen straws from liquid nitrogen storage tanks
• Maintaining accurate stock records and databases
• Conducting quarterly stock takes for audits and inventory checks
• Receiving and processing incoming stock and consumables
• Updating and maintaining spreadsheets and inventory logs
• Tracking the movement of empty nitrogen tanks to and from customers and suppliers
• Handling liquid nitrogen and ensuring all storage is maintained to safety standards
• Keeping the store area clean, tidy, and audit-ready

Criteria

• Previous experience in warehousing, stores, or inventory management
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Confidence working with stock tracking systems and spreadsheets
• A commitment to health & safety protocols
• Flexibility to support other areas of operations when needed
• A full UK driving licence is essential

This is a hands-on role where you'll be a key part of a close-knit operations team. From time to time, you may be asked to support colleagues in other areas - such as delivering stock or liquid nitrogen to farms - especially to cover holidays or absence.Working Monday to Friday - hours can be 8am to 4pm & 9am to 5pmPlease send CV to Colleen Farquharson via the link
