Registered Nurse - Nights

Job Summary

Registered Nurse - Nights at Avery Healthcare's Barnet Grange Care Home in Barnet. Responsible for providing high quality nursing care, acting as the person in charge, and supervising the care team to ensure residents receive exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertaking nursing tasks including medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Advising families of residents and GPs of any changes in condition, keeping them informed and involved in care decisions.
• Providing high standards of care by accurate assessment and planning.
• Effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive required care.
• Acting as person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions.

Qualifications

• First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Minimum 2 years experience in nursing and up to date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post basic studies or qualifications.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
• Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

Other Requirements

• ADBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
