A lovely returning client is seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeper / Family Cook to support the smooth running of their home.

This is a well-structured, housekeeping-focused role within a busy family household, suited to a professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards and keeping a home running efficiently.

There are young children in the home, with dedicated childcare support already in place.

The family are looking for someone proactive, organised and detail-oriented, who is confident working independently and able to take ownership of the role.

Preparing fresh, healthy family-style meals forms an important part of the position, so a capable and confident family cook is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Full housekeeping duties to a consistently high standard
• Laundry and ironing
• Wardrobe management, including clothing care and organisation
• Pantry and fridge management, including stock rotation and organisation
• Maintaining household supplies and ensuring the home runs efficiently
• Organising cupboards, storage areas and household systems
• Ensuring the home is well presented at all times
• Preparing fresh, healthy family-style meals
• Batch cooking and meal preparation where appropriate
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently
• Occasional errands such as grocery shopping or household supplies
• Working alongside existing cleaners to maintain overall standards

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Housekeeper within a private household
• High standards of housekeeping with strong attention to detail
• Experience with wardrobe management and household organisation
• Confident family cook, comfortable preparing fresh, healthy meals independently
• Proactive and able to take initiative
• Reliable, discreet and professional
• Able to work independently and take ownership of the role
• Driver preferred but not essential
