Overview

As a Receptionist at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, you'll be the welcoming face and guiding voice for our guests - ensuring every arrival, stay and departure is seamless, personalised and memorable. With a focus on genuine hospitality, attention to detail and Nobu's crafted approach, you'll play a vital role in shaping the guest experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming and lasting impression for every guest
• Manage the full guest journey from pre-arrival to post-stay with care and precision
• Build genuine relationships with guests, especially VIPs and repeat visitors
• Provide attentive, natural and friendly service that reflects Nobu standards
• Answer guest enquiries and follow up promptly and professionally
• Maintain a tidy, presentable reception area with all necessary materials
• Be immaculately presented in correct uniform at all times
• Use OPERA proficiently to capture and manage guest information
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalised, crafted experiences
• Handle cashiering duties securely and manage a personal float accurately
• Resolve issues swiftly and empathetically, logging and following up as needed
• Support and train new team members, fostering a collaborative environment
• Liaise effectively with all departments, especially Rooms Division
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for service improvement
• Uphold safety procedures and ensure secure access via the reception desk

Qualifications

You bring experience in a front of house or guest-facing role, ideally within a luxury hotel setting. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where warmth, professionalism and attention to detail are key. With a proactive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality, you'll ensure every guest feels seen, valued and cared for, the Nobu way.
