Real Estate Claims Executive

A widely respected Lloyd's Broker has an exciting opportunity within their Global Real Estate & Construction division for an experienced Claims Executive to join their Real Estate team.

In this role, you will provide claims handling services to an allocated portfolio of clients, support the overall claims service provision, and assist team members.

Applicants should have excellent technical claims experience, an understanding of relevant classes of business (Real Estate, Property), and a strong knowledge of the London Market.

1. Managing Real Estate claims to conclusion, liaising effectively with clients, insurers, loss adjusters, and other parties.
2. Providing advice on policy cover and necessary documentation to progress claims.
3. Negotiating with insurers for beneficial and cost-effective settlements.
4. Ensuring claims are registered and updated on our systems.
5. Attending meetings as required and reporting major or sensitive claims to the Account Executive.
6. Understanding claims notification and investigation procedures for each insurance class.
7. Maintaining client claim experiences and providing management reports.
8. Building and nurturing relationships with clients, insurers, lawyers, and loss adjusters.
9. Maintaining records and performing claims cleanses proactively.
10. Managing a diary system for outstanding workloads and completing tasks as directed by management.
