Job Description

Quality Inspector - Paint Automotive Manufacture

Visual inspection of high quality finished parts, ensuring customer standards are met.

Responsibilities

Visually inspect High Quality finished parts to detailed customer Quality requirements
Checking the presence of details such as metal fixings and fixing tape
Cross hatch testing to ensure coating adhesion
Ensuring documentation is completed correctly, including traceability data
Address all customer requirements
Dealing with customer queries and complaints
Use of manual and automated method for checking colour and surface finish
Knowledge of quality standards and documentation

Experience & Qualifications

Experienced in the use of standard measuring equipment and processes (Mic's, Vernier callipers etc.)
Basic knowledge of ISO9001 & IATF 16949 requirements is a distinct advantage
Interaction with MRP/ERP systems (Javelin preferably)
Good computer literacy in particular all MS Office programs
Experience working with injection moulding or plastic assembly processes
Open and approachable communication abilities

Salary: 30,000+ DOE (inclusive of shift premium)
