Quality Inspector - Paint Automotive Manufacture

Visual inspection of high quality finished parts, ensuring customer standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect High Quality finished parts to detailed customer Quality requirements
• Checking the presence of details such as metal fixings and fixing tape
• Cross hatch testing to ensure coating adhesion
• Ensuring documentation is completed correctly, including traceability data
• Address all customer requirements
• Dealing with customer queries and complaints
• Use of manual and automated method for checking colour and surface finish
• Knowledge of quality standards and documentation

Experience & Qualifications

• Experienced in the use of standard measuring equipment and processes (Mic's, Vernier callipers etc.)
• Basic knowledge of ISO9001 & IATF 16949 requirements is a distinct advantage
• Interaction with MRP/ERP systems (Javelin preferably)
• Good computer literacy in particular all MS Office programs
• Experience working with injection moulding or plastic assembly processes
• Open and approachable communication abilities

Salary: 30,000+ DOE (inclusive of shift premium)
