Job Description

Join our dedicated team in Peterborough as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) specializing in Adults Mental Health. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional who is committed to improving the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the community while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' mental health needs.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with service users and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to individuals and their families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.
  • Monitoring and reviewing progress, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working in mental health settings, particularly with adults.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
