As a member of our team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting initial assessments and responding to referrals regarding children and families in need of support.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Carrying out home visits to assess the safety and wellbeing of children.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of assessments and case management activities.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategies for safeguarding children.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in child protection, assessments, and safeguarding practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload effectively.
