  • Conducting initial assessments and responding to referrals regarding children and families in need of support.

  • Carrying out home visits to assess the safety and wellbeing of children.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of assessments and case management activities.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategies for safeguarding children.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in child protection, assessments, and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload effectively.
