QA Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Team Support & Daily Guidance Be the go-to person for the QA team, offering support on product, equipment, and people-related queries. Keep daily operations running smoothly with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.
• Customer-Centric Quality Develop a deep understanding of customer specifications and packing requirements. Ensure every berry-packed pallet meets expectations-from freshness to presentation.
• Training & Compliance Lead the onboarding and training of new QA team members. Ensure full compliance with customer specs and internal SOPs through clear guidance and mentorship.
• Cross-Department Collaboration Maintain strong working relationships with production, allocations, and operational teams. Facilitate a continuous flow of quality and performance information across departments.
• Packing Oversight Work closely with production management to ensure packing SOPs are followed precisely. Coordinate with allocations to ensure pallets are sorted correctly and packed to spec.
• Quality Feedback & Communication Provide timely feedback to growers, procurement, and technical teams about fruit arrivals and quality trends. Help drive improvements and maintain transparency across the supply chain.
• Health, Safety & Hygiene Champion a clean-as-you-go culture to uphold top-tier hygiene and safety standards. Support the Head of Quality and Compliance with audits, initiatives, and continuous improvement.
