The individual will help drive strategic planning, delivery, management information/business intelligence and certain operational activities for the effective and efficient running of the business. The aim is to drive the operating rhythm, achieve established and agreed ambitious Strategic Objectives, contribute to financial performance, operating efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Support the COO/Head of Business Management with: + Leading the delivery of business management, strategic and operational projects for Workflows to drive the Strategic Objectives and ensure the operating unit is running efficiently, optimising company resources, and maximising ROI - all in collaboration with other stakeholders in the division. + Providing support to Workflows Leadership Team (LT) and sometimes Global Heads of Workflows in the strategic and tactical day-to-day delivery tasks, providing key business decision-making information. + Maintaining the operating rhythm for Workflows including the ownership of the operating calendar, ensuring awareness and visibility for LT of important events, deadlines, and commitments. + Owning and continually improving efficiency and effectiveness of the overall Workflows governance. + Developing metrics and MI for capturing, analysing, and reporting effectiveness of the Function in partnership with Finance and Business leads. Will be involved and could be the source to drive process improvement, change initiatives and see though issue resolution in collaboration with other functions. + Driving alignment on deliverables and removal of barriers to execution through regular conversations with documented commitments and outcomes, driving the flow of information. + Supporting key relationships with global Functions to provide analytics, intelligence, forecasting, and reporting that informs and drives business decisions where necessary. + Utilising and collaborating with resources, networks and tools to ensure delivery against objectives and provide performance management, technical development, guidance and coaching (where applicable). + Supporting the investment planning process across Workflows, ensuring information is up to date, accurate and that summaries are clear for senior stakeholders and groups (Group Investment Committee, Portfolio Boards and Group Data and Analytics). + Ensuring delivery is clear across Workflows with information in Asana and Power BI (both internal/external). + Helping any new joiners / graduates onboarding and supporting with any other ad hoc requests. Partner with respective Business and Functional Leads to: + Establish and build good trusting relationships and mutual collaboration working jointly on delivering established Strategic Objectives. + Ensure Business Leads are aware of any important events or critical deadlines requiring their contribution. + Coordinate on strategic or tactical requests across various teams and adapt ways of working to achieve a common goal. + Collaboratively iterate on business intelligence/management information gathering and dashboards to continually evolve such into a higher (if not full) level of automation. + Support with Workflows Offsites, Community Calls, Business Operational Teams (BOT) and Business Leadership Team (BLT) forums and material collation for such or any other forums where needed. + Support with any Partnership and inorganic acquisition initiatives to ensure that they deliver against established plans where needed. + Collaborate with 1st line of defence and 2nd line of defence on any Risk and control as well as Internal Audit functions where needed. + Support specific Finance related programmes in a project management role. Candidate Profile/ Key Skills: Overall work experience of 10+ years in Transformation and Change, Business Management, Management, Management Information, or related areas of successful Business and Portfolio Management in FS. Good stakeholder management and leadership skills with strong ability to tailor such according to the audience. Time-management skills and competence to juggle as well as prioritise multiple high-profile deliverables. Attention to details with focus on delivering objectives and problem solving within strict deadlines. Expert skills utilising Microsoft software, in particular PowerPoint and Excel and ideally Asana/Power BI for any Management Information/Business Intelligence reports. Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex financial models. Self-started with a passion for data driven decision making. Superior written and verbal communication. Additional skills: Experience working with cross functionally teams such as tech and non-tech environment. Strong ability to influence without authority across teams.
