Apple Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an Audit Manager with public sector experience on behalf of our client, a leading business advisory organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio, mentor a team, and contribute to the growth of a highly regarded firm.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a diverse portfolio of public sector clients across Ireland and the UK.

Lead end-to-end audit delivery for your portfolio, ensuring compliance with relevant audit standards and regulations, reporting to the Partner.

Train and mentor team members, developing their technical and professional skills.

Build and maintain trusted client relationships.

Oversee the financial management of your portfolio.

Contribute to the firm's business development initiatives.

Opportunity to broaden your portfolio into NFP and Corporate audit sectors subject to agreement and performance.

Salary & Benefits

Competitive salary: £47,000 - £65,500

Death in service: 4 salary

Pension contributions dependent on level

23 days annual leave plus 10 public holidays

Requirements

ACA, ACCA, or CIPFA qualified

Experience and proficiency in public sector audit

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop exceptional client relationships

Solid organisational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently

Leadership and mentoring experience, with a track record of developing junior staff

Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to business development

Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
