Interim Procurement Lead/Category Manager

One of our facilities management clients is looking for an experienced Procurement Lead/Senior Category Manager to support a fast-paced Fire, Security and FM environment during a period of growth and acquisition.

Details

• Location: Bristol/London

• Contract: 6-12 months (likely extension)

• Rate: £500-£600 per day

• Ideal candidates based South or Midlands with flexibility to travel.

The Role

• Lead procurement across Fire & Security, Testing, Inspection & Compliance (TIK)

• Manage quotes, tenders, contracts and supplier relationships

• Play a key role in high-profile acquisitions

• Mentor a junior buyer and add leadership where needed

• Operate at pace in a change-heavy FM business

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years procurement experience

• Strong FM background (essential)

• Fire & Security experience desirable

• Comfortable leading categories and stakeholders

• At least one role requires people management/mentoring experience
