We have an opportunity to work with one of the leading building contractors, involved in building a mixture of new build social housing and refurbishments.

They urgently require a Proposals Writer / Bid Writer / Proposals Assistant to work from their busy office, with the following responsibilities:

1. Assist in responding to pre-qualification questionnaires/OJEU advertisements
2. Assist in the bid process for new projects
3. Assist in the review process of all pre-qualification questionnaires, tenders, submissions, and presentations
4. Responsible for submitting pre-qualification questionnaires, tenders, and presentations
5. Ensure tenders are submitted within deadlines, identifying tasks and delegating accordingly
6. Compile documents to high standards (hard copy and electronic, working with all formats of files, e.g., dwg, mpg)
7. Assist the team during submission periods
8. Assist with monthly team meetings, including creating agendas, disseminating information, and taking minutes
9. Knowledge of the construction industry is essential, preferably within a bid submission team, either from contracts or professional background
