The RoleAs a Property Services Operative, you will support the delivery of high-quality operations under supervision and guidance working within defined procedures. Day-to-day, you'll be undertaking post room duties (goods in/out, franking post, delivering posts/parcels), forklift driving, assisting with contractor control and general IT duties. This role will suit someone with prior experience in a similar capacity (e.g. Post Office, Warehouse, Goods in-out, Control of documents). Training will be provided.
Your Responsibilities- To support the delivery of high-quality post room operations
- To support the resolution of standard queries
- To support the delivery of high standard operations taking accurate messages and passing them on to the appropriate person in a timely manner
- To contribute and make suggestions towards the continuous improvement of UKD Operations
- To develop professional/ technical competence through structured learning and/or through work assignments
- To lead by example, champion best practice and encourage others to demonstrate appropriate behaviours to promote a positive and safe culture
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable (e.g. Post Office, Warehouse, Goods in-out, Control of documents)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive, drive and enthusiasm; 'can do' approach
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- Ability to organise / prioritise work
- Ability to thrive as part of a team and work independently where appropriate
- Full driving licence
- Ability to safely deploy equipment and processes
- Forklift licence (desirable not essential as training can be provided)
This role is 37 hours per week based at our Malvern site with site attendance of five days per week.
- Monday - Thursday 8am-4pm
- Friday 8am - 3pm
Location: Malvern, United Kingdom. The Malvern facility is noted for its work in electronic warfare, surveillance and complex system integration, contributing significantly to the UK's defence capabilities. Developing technologies for military and civilian applications, including sensors, communications and cyber security.
