Job Description

A well-established regional law firm is seeking a Residential Property Legal Assistant to join its busy conveyancing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build or develop a career in residential property within a supportive and professional environment.

The Role

You will provide essential support to fee earners, assisting with a range of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
  • Opening and maintaining client files and records
  • Carrying out property searches and Land Registry checks
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
  • Supporting the exchange and completion process
  • Preparing completion statements and related documentation
  • Handling general administrative tasks and client enquiries
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
About You
  • Previous experience in a legal role dealing with Residential Property work - essential
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
  • Proactive, reliable, and a strong team player
  • Good IT skills and familiarity with case management systems
