Job Summary

An experienced residential Property Manager is required for a leading Newbury based lettings agency. Assist in the management of a local residential portfolio, ensuring compliance, and delivering excellent service to landlords, tenants, and contractors in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of residential properties let on ASTs
• Ensuring properties comply with all safety and legal standards
• Negotiating tenancy renewals and handling deposit returns
• Liaising with tenants, landlords, and contractors
• Resolving maintenance issues quickly and efficiently
• Handling disputes, complaints, and escalations professionally
• Providing excellent customer service throughout the tenancy lifecycle

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in residential property management
• In depth understanding of current lettings legislation
• Highly organised and able to prioritise workload efficiently
• Effective at resolving issues and managing conflict
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Positive attitude and professional telephone manner
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Local knowledge of the Newbury area (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence essential (own car preferred)
• A professional, customer focused, and thorough approach
