Job Description
Food Technician - English & Mandarin Speaking Responsibilities 
- Researching and analysing market trends, providing insights and suggestions for frozen foods sector.
- Developing new product, optimising quality for current product(s) and developing instructions to improve production quality.
- Establishing the production procedure(s) and quality standards assessed by scientific and technical methods to ensure quality.
- Collaborating with Sales Team to resolve any after sales technical issues.
- Familiar with production procedures & equipment, raw materials' and ingredients' features and assisting with supplier selection process to maintain product quality.
- Collaborating with Marketing Team for new product including but not limited to technical specifications, ingredients, and sampling.
- Working closely with Quality Manager to provide technical support for quality correction and improvement.
- Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks.
- Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (1hr unpaid break)
- Bachelor's degree in food science or a related field. Master's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a food technician and developing role is a must. Experience in quality assurance within food sector preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UK/EU food regulation and labelling
- Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, GMP and Due Diligence
- A Self- starter and excellent communicator with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Reliable and detail oriented with great can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Mandarin Chinese (fluent - a must)
- English (fluent - a must)
- Any other languages will be a plus!
