Food Technician

Food Technician - English & Mandarin Speaking Responsibilities

• Researching and analysing market trends, providing insights and suggestions for frozen foods sector.
• Developing new product, optimising quality for current product(s) and developing instructions to improve production quality.
• Establishing the production procedure(s) and quality standards assessed by scientific and technical methods to ensure quality.
• Collaborating with Sales Team to resolve any after sales technical issues.
• Familiar with production procedures & equipment, raw materials' and ingredients' features and assisting with supplier selection process to maintain product quality.
• Collaborating with Marketing Team for new product including but not limited to technical specifications, ingredients, and sampling.
• Working closely with Quality Manager to provide technical support for quality correction and improvement.
• Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (1hr unpaid break)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in food science or a related field. Master's degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in a food technician and developing role is a must. Experience in quality assurance within food sector preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UK/EU food regulation and labelling
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, GMP and Due Diligence
• A Self- starter and excellent communicator with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Reliable and detail oriented with great can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment

Language Requirements

• Mandarin Chinese (fluent - a must)
• English (fluent - a must)
• Any other languages will be a plus!
