Job Description
Our client is looking for a Property Maintenance Manager to join their growing team.
The Property Maintenance Manager will be responsible for supporting the Company's property portfolio and property budgets.
Property Maintenance Manager Responsibilities- Plan and manage preventative maintenance across all company-owned and leased properties, ensuring routine upkeep is carried out efficiently.
- Monitor day-to-day maintenance issues and ensure they are resolved promptly.
- Conduct building surveys and produce detailed technical reports for both planned and reactive works.
- Prepare specifications for identified repairs or defects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Source and appoint suitable contractors, overseeing projects from start to completion to ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor costs and ensure all spending remains within approved budgets, following company financial procedures.
- Review and manage invoices in line with approval processes.
- Liaise with consultants, landlords, and other stakeholders to ensure all regulatory and project requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests and prioritise tasks accordingly.
- Provide out-of-hours support for emergency situations when required.
- Assist the New Stores team with property-related requirements.
- Undertake any additional duties as needed.
- Previous experience in surveying, construction, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in property maintenance is advantageous.
- Willingness to undertake further training and development.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations, including risk assessments and method statements
