Project Manager - Investment Platform Implementation - Asset Management

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new investment management platform for a leading Asset & Investment Management firm based in Munich.

This is a high-profile delivery role working across business and technology teams to drive the rollout of a modern investment operations and reporting solution that will enhance data quality, transparency, and automation across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of an investment management platform implementation, from planning through to go-live.

• Act as the primary interface between internal stakeholders, vendors, and technology teams.

• Oversee scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies while ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.

• Coordinate testing, data migration, and user acceptance phases.

• Ensure seamless integration with existing front, middle, and Back Office systems and reporting tools.

• Provide regular status updates, governance packs, and stakeholder communication.

Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering investment or asset management system implementations.

• Strong understanding of front-to-back investment processes, data flows, and reporting requirements.

• Experience with investment management or accounting platforms such as Clearwater Analytics, SimCorp Dimension, Aladdin, Charles River, or similar.

• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.

• Fluent German and English (both spoken and written).

• Willingness to work onsite in Munich three days per week - travel expenses covered if commuting.

• Duration: 6-12 months (initial)

• Location: Munich, Germany (hybrid - 3 days onsite)
