Job Description

I am currently working with a very interesting client in Paris, looking for a Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives within a leading financial services environment. This role is positioned as an IT Product Manager, focused on driving cross-functional projects across derivatives, trading / post trading operations.


Working on the project roadmap consists in ensuring that projects are properly prioritised and delivered in the group project governance, preparing relevant committees including prioritisation proposals, and providing visibility on project milestones. You will work with key stakeholders on projects across the organisation, as well as coordinating design meetings with Heads of Departments and then providing the results to the Global Head.


The Project Manager will build bridges, manage risks, structure solid governance and ensure smooth implementation.


Supporting transformation initiatives such as change management, training, and continuous improvement across the trading service and derivatives space.


Track IT delivery, with or without an IT PM, depending on the size and complexity of the project: specifications, sizing, timeline, development, test, dress rehearsals, implementation;


Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to build a client tracker, and identify the client journey and sales milestones to secure the project;





Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver full project lifecycle: scoping, planning, execution, and go-live
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, IT, Operations, and Sales teams
  • Manage governance, risk, and stakeholder engagement
  • Track project spend, milestones, and KPIs
  • Contribute to strategic roadmap planning and prioritisation




Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years' experience in project management (financial services preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder and governance management skills
  • Able to drive projects from start to finish
  • Global / International previous project scope experience
  • Deep dive into projects, on new topics and gain understanding to allow you to be able to pick up and move forward
  • Proactive, Rigorous and Driven
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and project tracking tools - draft presentations, slide decks, memos, minutes, action plans and risk logs
  • PMP or Agile certification is a plus
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Financial Markets experience and knowledge will make you stand out
  • Fluent in English
