The role
This role drives the digitalization and continuous improvement of customer service processes across Europe/Africa. The primary focus is on transforming manual order handling into efficient, automated workflows, requiring strong technical expertise and project management skills. In close collaboration with the Head of Customer Service, this role identifies improvement opportunities and leads cross-functional initiatives. It works across multiple departments, including sales, logistics, and IT, to establish scalable and efficient processes.
How you'll make an impact
Lead or co-lead cross-functional projects in areas such as:
- Digitalization (e.g., digital order processing and automation
- Reporting and KPI structures
- ERP-related improvements (mainly SAP)
Identify improvement opportunities and initiate or manage continuous improvement as well as business process re-engineering projects
Support strategic initiatives within Customer Service, with focus on order flow, logistics, and supply chain interfaces
Prepare and moderate project workshops and meetings
Develop and maintain process maps and structures within the company's BPM framework
Define and write clear business requirements for system/process improvements
Act as a central coordinator for regional process initiatives while ensuring alignment with global counterparts
What do you bring
Technical background (e.g., IT, business informatics, or supply chain technology) with proven project management experience, ideally in digitalization or process automation initiatives
Strong understanding of supply chain and order-to-cash processes
Hands-on experience with business process modeling, requirements engineering, and documentation; strong conceptual thinking with the ability to design scalable solutions and anticipate downstream impacts
Familiarity with project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, Lean Six Sigma)
Fluent in German and English is required
Experience with SAP (especially SD, MM, or PLM) is an advantage or comparable ERP systems
