Programme Lead, Family Health & Wellbeing

Elkanna Limited Border Counties, Ireland Full-time, community-based leadership

Lead the day-to-day delivery of Elkanna's community programmes, supporting practitioners and ensuring outcomes are warm, measurable, and consistent.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, scheduling, and delivery of community programmes across multiple counties.
• Coach and mentor Health Education Practitioners through reflective supervision and on-site support.
• Maintain high standards in attendance, outcome tracking, incident response, and HSE reporting.
• Escalate safeguarding, staffing, and partnership concerns appropriately.
• Build a positive team culture rooted in family partnership and measurable impact.

What we're looking for

• Qualification in Health Promotion, Public Health, Social Care, Education, or a related field.
• Significant experience delivering community-based programmes for children, families, or schools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and respond calmly to complex family situations.
• Strong knowledge of Children First safeguarding, outcome measurement, and KPI reporting.
• Confident written communication for tender, HSE, and partner reporting.
• Previous senior practitioner, project lead, or team lead experience in a community setting.
• Experience contributing to HSE tender submissions or CAWT PEACEPLUS bids.
• Full clean driving licence.
