Production Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic workshop labourer to join our clients workshop team in Alfreton, Derbyshire on a temporary basis initially.

YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN MANUFACTURING OR ENGINEERING BACK GROUND

Duties

• Operating a wide range of machinery, including punch machines, routers, drills & grinders and more
• Use of a wide range of hand & power tools
• Working with a range of materials including metals & wood
• Read basic engineering drawings
• Adhering to strict H&S
• Heavy lifting on occasions
• Keeping shop floor clean
• Helping wherever needed on the shop floor

Skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues
• Excellent organisational skills, demonstrating attention to detail in all tasks.
• Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Hours:

• 07:00 - 16:00, 30-minute lunch break
• Early finish Friday
