Production and Community Projects Intern

Work Type: Part-Time

As a Production and Community Projects Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting initiatives, collaborate with talented professionals, and gain valuable hands on experience in the entertainment industry.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Casting Director to identify and source talent for upcoming projects.
  • Conduct preliminary auditions and screen potential actors to assess suitability for roles.
  • Coordinate and schedule audition sessions, callbacks, and meetings with talent.
  • Assist in maintaining a comprehensive database of actors, their portfolios, and contact information.
  • Liaise with talent agencies, negotiate contracts, and manage communication between the production team and actors.
  • Provide administrative support, including managing calendars, coordinating travel arrangements, and handling other casting related logistics.
  • Attend industry events, showcases, and talent scouting opportunities to stay abreast of emerging actors and industry trends.
  • Assist in creating casting breakdowns, character descriptions, and other materials for casting calls.
Skills and Qualities We Value
  • Previous experience in a casting or talent related role is desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a creative team.
  • Knowledge of the UK entertainment industry, talent agencies, and casting processes.
  • Familiarity with casting software and databases is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A passion for film and television, with a keen eye for talent.
