About the role:
We're currently hiring for a Product Manager to sit across our Product Platform and Customer Platform teams. These platform teams are at the center of our core energy, broadband and mobiles products. Their role is to enable our teams to empower people and to transform industries.
These two platform teams are responsible for building technology that solves repeatable problems across our core product teams, enabling us to quickly build and iterate best in class consumer experiences
They provide data, tooling and services that allow us to personalise content, send messages at the right time to the right group of people and ensure that we can react more quickly than our competitors to market opportunities.
They also own relationships with a number of third parties who provide the software that we need to do our jobs effectively.
We are seeking a creative, experienced Product Manager to identify, deliver and iterate services that enable innovative and engaging consumer experiences. You'll work within a team of primarily engineers to deliver and will have exposure to teams and stakeholders across all of our core comparison products.
The Product Manager will also work within the Product community to help drive the vision and strategy for our products and features. A typical day would involve discussing bottlenecks and opportunities with stakeholders and other members of the product community, generating and analysing ideas, prioritising, refining product backlog and delivering growth across RVU in a variety of disciplines, working within a lean agile team.

What you'll be doing:
- Develop a deep understanding of the needs of different teams and their customers with quant data and conversations with users, and evangelise those quant/qual learnings within the organisation
- Deliver incremental product improvements alongside driving forward strategic initiatives to achieve wider business goals
- Align and engage stakeholders, set the product roadmap, prioritise features, build consensus, and coordinate product schedules with business teams, engineers and/or independent contractors to ship high-quality experiences;
- Foster a culture of testing, data-driven decision making, and accountability for metrics and results;
- Host and coordinate milestone reviews, updating and engaging key stakeholders with progress of stories; negotiating priorities, scope and sequencing
What we're looking for:
- You will be confident and have had success in leading and developing a cross functional collaborative platform or product team
- You have demonstrable success delivering consumer facing products that drive real user value and business financial goals
- You understand the value of both user experience and A/B testing to find product/market fit
- You create structure out of ambiguity and have a pragmatic "can do" and "make it happen" attitude in a collaborative way
- You are analytically minded, comfortable using data to understand and communicate product performance (experience with Google Analytics, SQL, Google Sheets and/or Segment beneficial)
