The Business
Gailarde is a family-run business with a long-standing reputation for reliable service and innovation. Across our growing portfolio, we deliver everything from hotel-quality linens to student starter packs and creative gifting solutions. We operate across four main brands at present:
Gailarde is our main brand, under which our wholesale business operates. We provide bedding and homewares to a wide range of sectors including education, hospitality, leisure and care.
UniKitOut is our student-focused platform, allowing students to pre-order essential move-in packs delivered directly to their university accommodation before arrival. This is the primary brand this role will support.
noah is our creative gifting brand, offering all-in-one craft kits ideal for anyone looking to relax, pick up a new skill, or send a thoughtful, hands-on gift.
Coze is our premium linen brand, providing beautifully designed bedding and bath products that combine everyday comfort with contract-grade durability.
The Role
We are searching for a fixed term admin support for our procurement team to aid us over our busy summer season. This role would be a great introduction to the procurement function of a business and an opportunity to learn about the processes and systems that enable a retail business to function.
TasksGeneral Admin:
- Creating (and update) item codes and product-related data
- Answering basic product queries across different departments
- Ad hoc report running and data investigations to assist procurement decision making
Purchase Order (PO) Admin:
- Raising POs on behalf of our category managers
- Communicating with suppliers and transport partners to ensure POs are acknowledged, processed and delivered in a timeline manner.
- Updating PO information to ensure accurate communication across the business
We're looking for candidates that exhibit some or all of the below skills:
- Diligent and detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable conversing with colleagues in all parts of the orgnaistation
- Comfortable learning new tools and skills to get the most out of your day
- A self-starter with a desire to solve their own problems before asking for help
Experience with the following software is also a bonus:
- Microsoft office
- Excel/google sheets or other spreadsheet applications
- Notion
- Brightpearl
- Shopify
Hours:
Mon - Thu: 9.15am-5.30pm
Fri: 9.15am-4:30pm
