Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Private Client Paralegal to join their established department. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with an experienced Head of Department, gaining exposure to a broad range of private client matters while delivering outstanding service to clients during some of life's most important moments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the department across a varied caseload, handling matters including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate applications, and Estate Administration. This is a client-facing position offering genuine responsibility and the opportunity to further develop your technical knowledge and career within a respected firm.
Responsibilities- Drafting Wills and related documentation.
- Advising clients on and preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Assisting with and advising on Probate applications.
- Supporting and carrying out Estate Administration matters.
- Meeting with clients both in person and remotely to take instructions.
- Managing a varied caseload under appropriate supervision.
- Maintaining accurate files and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
- Supporting senior fee earners across the department.
- Delivering exceptional client care with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience handling Wills and Probate matters within a legal practice.
- Strong drafting skills and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients and third parties.
- Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- A client-focused mindset, with the ability to support vulnerable individuals and families with sensitivity and understanding.
