Are you an experienced Private Client Paralegal looking to join a supportive and growing team where your expertise is valued and your development is encouraged?

Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Private Client Paralegal to join their established department. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with an experienced Head of Department, gaining exposure to a broad range of private client matters while delivering outstanding service to clients during some of life's most important moments.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the department across a varied caseload, handling matters including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate applications, and Estate Administration. This is a client-facing position offering genuine responsibility and the opportunity to further develop your technical knowledge and career within a respected firm.

Responsibilities
  • Drafting Wills and related documentation.
  • Advising clients on and preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney.
  • Assisting with and advising on Probate applications.
  • Supporting and carrying out Estate Administration matters.
  • Meeting with clients both in person and remotely to take instructions.
  • Managing a varied caseload under appropriate supervision.
  • Maintaining accurate files and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
  • Supporting senior fee earners across the department.
  • Delivering exceptional client care with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience handling Wills and Probate matters within a legal practice.
  • Strong drafting skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients and third parties.
  • Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A client-focused mindset, with the ability to support vulnerable individuals and families with sensitivity and understanding.
